Job Description
We are seeking an R&D Manager to join a growing team and drive the research and development activities of advanced wound care products. The R&D Manager will be responsible for implementing R&D programs, leading the design and development of new technology, creating and managing key research and development documentation, and managing cross-functional relationships and activities. This individual will also identify new opportunities, facilitate team and client meetings, and ensure compliance with design control, risk management, and process validation standards.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant scientific field, such as chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or material science, and experience working within an R&D function in the medical device industry. They should also have a proven track record of delivering R&D projects, experience with laboratory studies and design verification/validation studies, and excellent communication, planning, and organization skills. Strong literacy and numeric skills, including the ability to analyse statistical data, are also required.
